GYMNASIUM NR 1 in Opatow is the representative of Poland in this Comenius project. We learn and live our everyday lives in a picturesque historical town. It is a really beautiful spot on the map of Poland.

Our Comenius group in Opatów (Poland) met regularly on Sundays in September 2013 and we took part in so called 'Walks around Opatow'. We really enjoyed it. The students had a great opportunity to become more familiar with the history and tradition of our rich in history town.
Also our Comenius group is bigger and bigger every day. The students are really interested in the project and they perform different tasks step by step. Well, to choose who goes to Pamplona we had to organise a competition. Our students wrote a test checking their geographical knowledge about the participating countries, then they had to prepare the posters presenting places worth seeing in Opatów and posters with self - presentation. They had a lot of hard work to do but also a lot of fun taking part in this competition. They really enjoyed it. The audience too... As a result we finally chose three winners - you will meet them soon in Pamplona.

Preparation for Verona
Our Comenius group meets regularly to prepare materials for our second meeting in Verona. We usually meet twice a week. At the beginning we discussed the stereotypes about Polish people, later we chose some stereotypes to present to our friends in Verona. During these meetings we learnt a lot but we also had a lot of fun. Everybody really enjoyed it!!!
