These are the three traditional pieces of art each country presented in Poland.
SPAIN
A bota bag or wineskin is a traditional Spanish liquid receptacle. Typically, it is made of leather (when made of goatskin it is known as a goatskin itself), and is typically used to carry wine, although any liquid can be filled into it.
In this pictures you can see the traditional way of drinking. It's a bit difficult, it's an art that you should practice to master! |
A botijo in Spanish, is a traditional Spanish porous clay container designed to contain water. Once filled and placed in the sun, it cools the water that it contains.
It has a wide belly and one or more mouths where it is filled and one or more outputs to drink from. It is a typical element of Spanish culture and may vary in shape, color and material. |

FINLAND
The Moomins are characters in books by Tove Jansson, whose 100th anniversary we celebrate this year. These Moomins were crafted by our students. When in Finland, one cannot avoid coming across the Moomin characters at some point. One might even visit Moomin World, a theme park on an idyllic island in Naantali.
