These are the three traditional pieces of art each country presented in Poland.

SPAIN

A bota bag or wineskin is a traditional Spanish liquid receptacle. Typically, it is made of leather (when made of goatskin it is known as a goatskin itself), and is typically used to carry wine, although any liquid can be filled into it.

In this pictures you can see the traditional way of drinking. It's a bit difficult, it's an art that you should practice to master!

A botijo in Spanish, is a traditional Spanish porous clay container designed to contain water. Once filled and placed in the sun, it cools the water that it contains.

It has a wide belly and one or more mouths where it is filled and one or more outputs to drink from. It is a typical element of Spanish culture and may vary in shape, color and material.

MadreNas:They are traditional shoes made of wood, which are worn by nor peasants in Asturias  in order to avoid the muddy paths in the villages.
Abarcas:They are traditional shoes from the Basque Country made of leather, and worn by peasants in Basque Country and Navarre  to work in the fields.

Traje de sevillanas:
Traditional dress worn by women in the south of Spain (Andalucia) for dancing. They are long, very colourful and vivid.

Kuksa (guksi) is a cup carefully carved from birch burl. Traditionally, it was a personal drinking cup only rinsed with water. If well made, kuksa would last a life-time. This particular kuksa was made by a student's grandfather.

The Moomins are characters in books by Tove Jansson, whose 100th anniversary we celebrate this year. These Moomins were crafted by our students. When in Finland, one cannot avoid coming across the Moomin characters at some point. One might even visit Moomin World, a theme park on an idyllic island in Naantali.

(Woolly socks) Wear this, if you come to Finland in the winter. You will both keep warm and remember where you are. Knitted by our student.

CYPRUS

Pottery making in Cyprus is an old craft going as far back as the Neolithic Age. Cyprus is renowned for its pottery which is still practised today. Specimens have been found in the island and examples can be seen in most renowned museums all over the world.

Cypriot Traditional embroidery enjoys a worldwide reputation. It has evolved through the ages. The best known embroidery is found in Lefkara .  By the end of the 19th century the embroidered lefkaritika( Lefkara) laces travelled across Europe, making the locals  famous worldwide.

According to Greek mythology, Aphrodite was the goddess of love and she was born in Cyprus.It is portrayed in pieces of art found all over the island and in museums everywhere in the world.
