FINLAND -HUITTINEN: 14th-18th MARCH 2015
This was the 6th and the last meeting of our project. It took place in Huittinen, a town of around 10,000 inhabitants. The students had the chance to stay with Finnish families and the teachers stayed in Raska a beautiful and quaint hotel just outside the town. During the meeting the students played warm up games so that they would get to know each other, they saw videos of the students introducing themselves and they had the chance to get to know each other in the Finnish students' home environment. The whole group visited Huittinen and Tampere, a nearby city, got the taste of a Finnish cabin where they had delicacies from each of the six countries, got to know the school and its facilities and tasted Finnish food. The project closed with a great presentation of the project in the school auditorium to an audience of different ages and schools. Admittedly, all participants were sad to see the end of the project and promised each other that there would be another project soon!
